Remote Area First Aid course

That's me in the final practical assessment as a victim with snake bite and broken arm in the bush (photo Kane Mortlock), tended to by people taking pulse, reassuring, taking notes and cutting pants to get to the bite... My report appeared in "Great Walks" magazine Feb/Mar 2010.
The BWRS, Bush Walkers Rescue Squad, has the article also posted on their website. See also link in right hand column on this blog.

Hope you recovered O.K.? Looks painful. Knowledge in Remote area first aid is essential when undertaking the trips you have into some of the remotest places on the planet.
